Data Protection Spring Conference (Budapest, 26-27 May, 2016)

On 26-27 May, 2016 in Budapest, a conference on the protection of personal data was held. Within the conference, various topics were developed which are associated with the improvement of the practical cooperation of the international authorities for personal data protection. This exchange of experiences is expected to contribute toward not only the legislative capacity of the national legislation but also towards improving the international context of privacy and personal data protection in general. The Directorate for personal data protection has also actively participated on the conference, represented by the Secretary General, Ms. Tatjana Trajkovska which actively debate within the round table regarding the Modernization of Convention 108 which directly targets countries that are not members of the European Union.
